2008 RESIDENTS COMPETITION

The fourth annual residents' oral presentation competition is history. It is anticipated that additional interest and participation from all the graduate prosthodontic programs in our geographic area will result.

First place was awarded to Dr. Dean Kois from the University of Washington. Dr. Kois is honored to be the fourth recipient of the PCSP/JPD Graduate Student Research Competition. The second place winner was Dr. Sukhmani Singh from UCSF School of Dentistry.

The graduate competition program was the cooperative effort between the Journal of Prosthetic Dentistry Editorial Council Chair, Dr. Brien Lang and the 2004 President and Executive Council of the PCSP. Support and funding for the program has been committed for a period of five years.
