Synopsis:
During this lecture, we will explore the detailed steps involved in handling complex full arch implant-supported cases, from mounting the initial situation on an articulator to the final delivery. We will examine the revolution digital dentistry has brought to the field, transforming the way these cases are managed today. Initially, we will cover the traditional and analogue processes of data collection, transfer, design, and delivery of such cases. Then, we will re-examine and perform the same case in a fully digital format. This comparison will not only reinforce the fundamental knowledge required to execute these cases but also highlight the significant advantages of today's latest digital technologies in enhancing the same process. We will see how photography, digital intraoral and implant scanners, and a fully digital laboratory workflow have changed our approach to these cases.
