Gulick Award: Dr. Paul Binon – Dr. Paul Binon has been a member and supporter of the PCSP and served as past president in Monterey, CA in 2004. He has a private practice in Santa Rosa, CA and was the first individual to complete the Academy of Osseointegration certificate in implant dentistry. Dr. Binon has published numerous articles in peer reviewed journals.
Dr. Paul Binon, a distinguished prosthodontist, has been a pillar of expertise and care in our practice since earning his dental degree from Creighton University in 1969. His journey in dentistry led him to Indiana University, where he completed his Certificate in Prosthodontics and a Master of Science Degree in Dentistry. Adding to his impressive credentials, Dr. Binon received surgical training at Montefiore Medical Center – Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York.
Dr. Binon’s career is marked by notable achievements and roles. He’s been a faculty member at the Medical College of Georgia, a Research Scientist at UCSF, and has contributed to about 50 scientific papers. His expertise in dental implants, complete oral rehabilitation, and complex restorative dentistry is recognized globally.
In the professional community, Dr. Binon is highly respected. He’s a Diplomate of the Academy of Osseointegration, a member of the Academy of Prosthodontics, and a past President of the Pacific Coast Society for Prosthodontics. His commitment extends to serving on the board of the Sacramento District Dental Society Foundation and Koinonia Family Services.
