Dr. Garcia is Dean at Texas A&M University College of Dentistry. She is a Diplomate of the American Board of Prosthodontics, Fellow of ACP, Academy of Prosthodontics, American College of Dentists, and International College of Dentists. She is Past Chair of the Board for the American Dental Education Association, Past President of the ACP, and Past Chair of the Board for the ACPEF. She was faculty at UTHSCSA, International Dental Academy in Tokyo, University of Colorado Health Sciences Center, University of Iowa, and dean at University of Nevada Las Vegas School of Dental Medicine. She is a Fellow of the Big 10 Academic Alliance Leadership Program, Hedwig van Ameringen Executive Leadership in Academic Medicine (ELAM, The University of Texas System Leadership Institute, and Fellow of the UTHSCSA LEAD program.
