Dr. Reena Talwar is an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon and Associate Clinical Professor at the University of Alberta. She holds a PhD in Biomedical Sciences through a combined OMFS–PhD program, with expertise in the rehabilitation of the severely atrophic maxillomandibular complex. Her clinical and academic work focuses on advanced surgical implant techniques, digital planning, and innovative reconstructive strategies to improve function, aesthetics, and long-term outcomes for patients with complex atrophic conditions. Dr. Talwar is a devoted learner, educator and mentor for her students and colleagues.
