Dr. Nicole Olivares is board certified in periodontics and implant surgery. She received her doctorate from the University of California, Los Angeles, and completed a surgical residency in periodontics and dental implants at Oregon Health and Science University. Dr. Olivares worked at the Portland Veterans Affairs Medical Center and a multi-specialty group practice before coming home to the Bay Area and joining SF Perio and Implants in 2015. Dr. Olivares has intimate knowledge and extensive skill in oral implantology and related surgeries including advanced hard and soft tissue augmentation procedures such as sinus augmentation and bone regeneration. She has trained extensively in periodontal plastic surgery, procedures such as esthetic soft tissue grafting, and crown lengthening.bDr. Olivares strives for clinical excellence while alleviating her patient’s apprehensionband concerns with compassion. She lives in Marin with her husband, daughter, and their 15 year old Shiba Inu, Axel and enjoys all the outdoors the West Coast offers.
